Specifically, when moving your office from one  location to another, you should make sure that all items inside bookcases, shelves, desks or wall units are securely packed away in sturdy boxes. While  filing cabinets do not necessarily need to be emptied, they do need to be locked or securely fastened with string or heavy packing tape.
