交換機和路由器的區別

交換機是一種用於信號轉發的網絡設備，它可以為接入交換機的任意兩個網絡節點提供獨享的電信號通路。
路由器是連接互聯網中各局域網、廣域網的設備，它會根據信道的情況自動選擇和設定路由，以佳路徑，按前後順序發送信號。
交換機和路由器的區別
1、路由器可以給局域網自動分配IP，虛擬撥號;交換機只是用來分配網絡數據的。
2、路由器在網絡層，路由器根據IP地址尋址，路由器可以處理TCP/IP協議;交換機在中繼層根據MAC地址尋址，且不能處理TCP/IP協議。
3、路由器可以把一個IP分配給很多個主機使用，這些主機對外只表現出一個IP;交換機可以把很多主機連起來，這些主機對外各有各的IP。
4、路由器提供防火牆的服務，交換機不能提供該功能。
