如何選購超五類網線
1)包裝：超5類網線標有CAT5E，每箱應該305米，而且正規廠家的產品標識上標有長度。
2)用萬用表測試：國標網線305米單芯電阻為28歐姆左右，假的超5類網線電阻有的甚至達50歐姆，傳輸距離縮短差不多1半。
3)網線材料：劣質網線會採用銅包鐵線，用在電腦網絡問題不大，但在監控系統會產生干擾。
4)眼睛看：雙絞線絞的密度應該接近1CM絞一下。
5)傳送信號：超5類雙絞線在傳送信號時衰減更小，抗干擾能力更強。
6)線對顏色：超五類雙絞線線對顏色分別為白橙、橙、白綠、綠、白藍、藍、白棕和棕。裸銅線徑為0.51mm(線規為24AWG)，絕緣線徑為0.92mm，UTP電纜直徑為5mm。
7)性能：超五類雙絞線對比五類雙絞線的，部分性能得到了改善，如：如近端串擾、衰減串擾比，回波損耗等都有所提高，但其傳輸帶寬仍為100MHz。
