1 Overview
PL3760A is a series of isolated LED driverswhich can achieve high power factor andconstant output LED current. The proprietaryreal current control method can control the LEDcurrent accurately from the primary sideinformation. It can significantly simplify the LEDlighting system design by eliminating thesecondary side feedback components and theopt coupler.
The extremely low start up current and thequiescent current can reduce the powerconsumption thus lead to an excellent efficiencyperformance.The multiple protections of PL3760A, includingopen LED protection, short LED protection,cycle by cycle current limit, VCC UVLO andover  temperature  protection  can  greatlyenhance the system reliability and safety.The  external  programmable  line  voltagecompensation provides precise output currentthroughout the universal AC input voltage range.The leading edge blanking circuit on the CSinput removes the signal glitch and results inreduced external components and system cost.PL3760A is offered in SOP8 package.
