與多模光纖相比,單模光纖可支持更長傳輸距離,同時信號畸變很小。那麼,單模光纖有哪些類型呢?

652單模光纖:常稱為非色散位移光纖,它的零色散位於1.3um窗口低損耗區,工作波長為1310nm(損耗為0.36dB/km)。隨着光纖光纜工業和半導體激光技術的成功推進,652單模光纖的工作波長可轉移到更低損耗1550nm的光纖窗口(損耗為0.22dB/km)。

653單模光纖:常稱為色散位移光纖,它的零色散波長移位到損耗極低的1550nm處。

655單模光纖:常稱為非零色散位移光纖或NZDSF,屬於色散位移光纖,在1550nm出色散不是零值(按ITU-T.G.655規定,在波長1530-1565nm範圍對應的色散值為0.1-6.0ps/nm*km),用以平衡四波混頻等非線性效應。

What are the types of single-mode fiber?

652 single-mode fiber: often called non-dispersion-shifted fiber, its zero dispersion is located in the low-loss zone of the 1.3um window, and its working wavelength is 1310nm (loss is 0.36dB/km). With the successful advancement of the fiber optic cable industry and semiconductor laser technology, the working wavelength of 652 single-mode fiber can be transferred to a lower loss 1550nm fiber window (loss 0.22dB/km).

653 single-mode fiber: often called dispersion-shifted fiber, its zero-dispersion wavelength is shifted to 1550nm where the loss is extremely low.

655 single-mode fiber: often called non-zero dispersion-shifted fiber or NZDSF, it is a dispersion-shifted fiber, and the dispersion is not zero at 1550nm (according to ITU-TG655, the corresponding dispersion value in the wavelength range of 1530-1565nm is 0.1-6.0 ps/nm*km) to balance non-linear effects such as four-wave mixing.
